Regenerative Skin Treatments in Staffordshire

Polynucleotides • Exosomes • Profhilo

Regenerative skin treatments are designed to improve the skin at a cellular level, supporting natural repair, boosting collagen and restoring long-term skin health. These results-driven treatments are ideal if you’re looking for natural skin rejuvenation without altering your facial features.

At my clinic in Barton-under-Needwood, near Burton-on-Trent and Lichfield, I offer three evidence-based regenerative options: polynucleotides, exosomes and Profhilo.

Whether your concern is fine lines, dullness, crepey skin, texture or early ageing, each plan is tailored to your individual goals. The result is smoother, firmer, more radiant skin with long-lasting, natural improvements.

Polynucleotides

Advanced skin regeneration & repair

polys pic.jpg

Polynucleotides are an advanced regenerative injectable treatment designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and resilience.

They work by stimulating cellular activity and supporting tissue repair, helping the skin to become stronger, healthier, and more functional over time. Rather than adding volume or changing facial shape, polynucleotides focus on repairing and improving the skin itself.

This makes them particularly well suited to delicate or fragile skin areas, such as the under-eye region.

How polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides act at a cellular level to:

  • Stimulate skin cell regeneration

  • Improve hydration within the tissue

  • Support collagen production

  • Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress

  • Strengthen fragile or thinning skin

They work gradually with the skin’s natural healing processes, resulting in subtle, natural improvements rather than immediate change.

What polynucleotides can help with

  • Under-eye crepey or thinning skin

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Loss of elasticity and firmness

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Redness or inflammation

  • Overall skin quality and resilience

Treatment details

  • Results: Gradual improvement over 4–12 weeks

  • Longevity: Typically around 6 months

  • Downtime: Some swelling and small bruises are expected, particularly under the eyes. This is a normal part of the healing process and usually settles within a few days

  • Treatment time: Approximately 30–45 minutes

Suitability and important information

Polynucleotide treatments are suitable for many skin types, including delicate areas, following a full consultation.

Please note: Polynucleotides are derived from fish (salmon) DNA.
For this reason, they are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, or for individuals who prefer to avoid animal-derived products.

This will always be discussed fully during your consultation so you can make an informed decision about your treatment.

Exosomes Treatment (Purasomes)

Supporting skin repair and renewal at a cellular level

exosomes pic.jpg

Exosomes are tiny messenger particles involved in cell communication and regeneration. In the skin, they help support repair, renewal, and overall skin function.

In clinic, I use Purasomes® by DermaFocus a purified, laboratory-derived exosome technology developed specifically for regenerative aesthetic treatments.

Purasomes® work by delivering biological signals that encourage healthier cell behaviour, helping the skin repair more efficiently and strengthen over time. They do not add volume or alter facial structure, making them ideal for patients seeking natural, long-term skin improvement.

How exosome therapy works

Exosome therapy supports the skin’s natural repair and regeneration processes. Rather than forcing change, it works with the skin to improve quality, resilience, and function.

Depending on your skin type and treatment plan, Purasomes® can be:

  • Applied topically to freshly treated skin

  • Used after dermaplaning to support barrier recovery

  • Applied post chemical peel to help calm inflammation and support healing

  • Combined with microneedling to enhance penetration and regenerative response

This flexibility makes exosome therapy suitable for both sensitive skins and those seeking more intensive rejuvenation.

What exosome therapy can help with

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Acne scarring

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Pigmentation and uneven skin tone

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Loss of firmness and elasticity

  • Post-treatment recovery and skin resilience

Treatment details

  • Results: Build gradually over several weeks

  • Longevity: Supports long-term collagen stimulation and skin regeneration

  • Downtime: Minimal; depends on the accompanying treatment

  • Treatment time: Approximately 45 minutes (may vary depending on treatment combination)

Suitability and important information

Exosome therapy using Purasomes® may be suitable for many skin types, including sensitive skin, depending on how it is used and combined with other treatments.

Please note: Purasomes® are bovine-derived. For this reason, the treatment is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, or for individuals who prefer to avoid animal-derived products.

A full consultation will always take place to ensure the treatment is appropriate for your skin and to allow you to make an informed decision.

Improving skin hydration and firmness from within

Profhilo

Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment designed to improve skin quality, rather than add volume or change facial shape.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo spreads evenly beneath the skin, delivering deep hydration while stimulating collagen and elastin production. This helps the skin become firmer, smoother, and more resilient over time.

How Profhilo works?

Profhilo contains a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid, which works in two key ways:

  • Deeply hydrates the skin from within

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin, supporting long-term skin firmness and elasticity

Once injected, Profhilo disperses across the treatment area, improving overall skin quality rather than targeting lines or volume loss.

It works with the skin’s natural processes, making it ideal for patients who want subtle, natural-looking improvement.

What Profhilo can help with?

  • Loss of skin firmness and elasticity

  • Dehydrated or crepey skin

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

  • Overall skin texture and tone

Profhilo is commonly used on the face, neck, and other areas where skin quality has started to decline.

Treatment details

  • Results: Gradually improve over several weeks

  • Course: Usually two treatments, four weeks apart

  • Longevity: Results typically last around 6 months

  • Downtime: Mild swelling or small injection bumps for 24–48 hours

  • Treatment time: Approximately 30 minutes

Is Profhilo right for everyone?

Profhilo does not add volume or alter facial shape, so it is not suitable if you are looking for structural correction or contouring.

A full consultation will always take place to assess your skin, discuss expectations, and decide whether Profhilo is the most appropriate treatment or whether another option would better meet your goals.
